Viva La Vida - Stems
"Viva La Vida" by Coldplay is one of the most successful songs of the 21st century. Released in 2008 on the album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, produced by Brian Eno, it won the Grammy for Song of the Year and became one of the best-selling digital singles in history. The song features a distinctive orchestral arrangement built around sweeping strings, rhythmic percussion, and Chris Martin's iconic vocals.
I made this instrumental remake as a collaboration with Lukas Gadelha for his channel Cantando em Portugues. Recreating the orchestral textures and the driving rhythmic energy of the original was a deeply satisfying production challenge — the interplay between the string section, the bell-like guitar patterns, and the powerful drum groove required careful layering.
