24K Magic Multi-Track

"24K Magic" by Bruno Mars is the title track from his 2016 album that swept the 60th Grammy Awards — winning Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. The song is a celebration of retro funk and R&B, channeling the energy of artists like The Gap Band, Cameo, and Zapp & Roger with modern production polish.

I produced this instrumental remake for my YouTube channel I Put The Band. Recreating the funk feel was particularly rewarding — the interplay between the drum machine patterns, the synth bass, and the layered keyboards required careful attention to groove and feel. Every element had to sit in the right pocket to capture that Bruno Mars magic.
