RigAstra is a MIDI and OSC controller for iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets, developed by Cristián R. Villagra.
Summary
RigAstra collects no data. There is no analytics, no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. Your scenes, presets and settings stay on your device.
RigAstra contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting libraries, on iOS or on Android. Nothing about you or your use of the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
What RigAstra stores, and where
Everything stays on your device, inside the app's own storage:

None of this is transmitted. RigAstra reads it only to show you your own work.
What RigAstra uses on your device
- MIDI connections. To send notes, controllers and MIDI Clock to the devices and apps you choose (USB, Bluetooth MIDI, IDAM on a Mac, or network MIDI), and to receive MIDI Clock if you enable an external clock.
- Your local network. Only to send OSC messages to the destinations you set up yourself (an IP address and a port), and for network MIDI. RigAstra never contacts servers on the internet. On iOS this is why the app asks for local network access.
- Files you choose. When you import a scene, preset or settings file, RigAstra opens only that file. When you export, the file goes where you decide.
RigAstra does not access the microphone, camera, contacts, location, calendar or photos, and does not ask for those permissions.
Third-party services
None. RigAstra contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. The Android version uses Google's open-source Filament library to draw the built-in mini-game; it runs locally and does not access the network.
The App Store and Google Play may collect information under their own privacy policies when you download the app. That is handled by Apple and Google, not by RigAstra.
Children
RigAstra collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Your rights over your data
Since everything lives on your device, you have full control: you can export your scenes and settings at any time, and deleting the app removes what it stored. There is nothing to request from us and nothing for us to delete, because we hold nothing.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of RigAstra adds a feature that sends data off your device, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be noted here with its date.
