A production breakdown of my 24K Magic instrumental remake (Bruno Mars), originally produced for my YouTube channel I Put The Band. Watch the performance and hear the multi-track demo.

"24K Magic" by Bruno Mars is one of those tracks that makes you want to move the moment it starts — that opening synth riff, the tight funk groove, and the infectious energy throughout. I produced this full instrumental remake for my YouTube channel I Put The Band, recreating that retro-funk feel from the ground up.

This is the video I published on my I Put The Band channel. If you don't know the song or want to hear my version first, check out the video below.

Recreating the Funk

Capturing the 24K Magic groove meant getting every layer to sit in the right pocket — the drum machine patterns, the bouncy synth bass, and the layered keyboards all working together. The multi-track is built around those key instrument groups: drums, bass, synths, and keys.

Multi-Track Demo

Here's a preview of the multi-track stems, grouped by instrument section so you can hear how the production layers come together.
